Hi there,

All emails are listed in messages as sent, but none of them gets delivered. What could be some possible reasons of this happening?

If they show up in messages, then wp_mail() returned true, meaning as far as EE is aware no errors were thrown during sending. This means the problem is likely due to the mail server rather than EE but lets check.

First, install WP Mail Logging and add a new registration, does it show the email in the mail log there?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

You’ll find the option ‘Generate and send all messages’, what is that set to currently?

Send Related Messages option was no by default. We were not initially able to change it to yes for some reason and ended up changing in code.

Please don’t change EE core files, if for some reason you can’t edit the setting there will be another cause/solution, changing core files is not the correct solution.

On which page did you see this and what code have you changed?

We tried both wp-mail and MailChimp

wp-mail? thats the default function used to send emails and is still used with other plugins that hook in and send the emails via other servers.

MailChimp does not allow you to send transactional emails through their servers, it’s used for newsletters, unless you mean Mandrill?
