PayPal Express (Event Espresso 4.9.17+)
PayPal Express is an off-site payment method that is available for event organizers in all countries using Event Espresso 4. It will allow you to accept payments via PayPal and through a credit or debit card. Event organizers can also turn on guest checkout (not available in all countries) and allow their registrants/attendees to pay for their registrations without having an existing PayPal.com account. This payment gateway is included with Event Espresso 4. This payment gateway is included with a support license purchase for Event Espresso 4. It is also included in our free plugin: Event Espresso decaf.
PayPal Express Checkout Smart Payment Buttons (with Venmo)
PayPal Express Checkout’s Smart Payment Buttons (an on-site payment method) gives event organizers a variety of ways to customize payment buttons on the checkout page, including the option to pay for their event registrations with Venmo.
With Smart Payment Buttons, you can choose:
- The size and shape of not just your PayPal checkout button, but also buttons for other, multiple alternative payment methods such as PayPal Credit, Venmo, and local funding sources.
- The button layout you prefer: horizontal or vertical.
Based on your specific configuration and a buyer’s location and cookies, Express Checkout dynamically presents the appropriate funding sources to give your buyers more ways to pay. This gateway is available for purchase as an add-on.
PayPal Payflow Pro
PayPal Payflow Pro is an on-site payment method that is available for Event Espresso 4. As an event organizer located in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or United States you can connect to an existing processor and securely accept credit and debit card payments. PayPal Payments Pro
PayPal Website Payments Pro is an on-site payment method that is available for event organizers in the United Kingdom, Canada, or United States using Event Espresso 4 and Event Espresso 3. It will allow you to accept credit and debit card payments securely on your WordPress site. This payment gateway is included with a support license purchase for Event Espresso 4.
PayPal Standard (Event Espresso 3 Only)
PayPal Standard is an off-site payment method that is available for event organizers in all countries using Event Espresso 3. It will allow you to accept payments via PayPal and through a credit or debit card. Event organizers can also turn on guest checkout (not available in all countries) and allow their registrants/attendees to pay for their registrations without having an existing PayPal.com account. This payment gateway is included with Event Espresso 3.
