What options does the Shortcodes plugin add?

Instead of sending visitors to a single event list, now you can show customized event calendars right where they belong — on landing pages, ministries, departments, or venues. It’s a fast way to improve visibility and boost registrations.

You can control the template or view and filters on a per-page basis:

Set the template/view, e.g. Month, Week, Day, or Agenda view.
Enable or disable the filters.
Enable or disable specific filters
Show or hide events by: category, venue, tag, location, etc.
Show or hide events by status: active or expired. Which means you can show or hide expired events.

Here are a few examples:

[EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS] - this is the minimum shortcode.
[EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS view="month"] - displays events in the month view/template and override the default template/view selected within the default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS filters="false"] - disables the filters in whatever default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS filters="location,category,search"] - enables just the location, category, and search filtering options.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS venue="29"] - will only show events associated with venue ID 29 within the default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS venue="29" cat="C2" tag="T1"] - will show events for venue 29, category C2, and Tag T1 iwithin the default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS tag="T1" filters="false" filter-tag="true"] - will show events tagged as T1, hide other filters but still show the Tag filter so people can choose different tags if they want.
EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS expired="false"] - will hide the expired/past events and show only active events within the default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
[EVENTS_CALENDAR_PLUS cat="workshops" tag="beginner" venue="29" view="agenda"] - will show the events categorized as workshops, and tagged as beginner, and assigned to the venue with ID 29, and display in the Agenda view regardless of what is set within the default view you have set in the Calendar Plus > Settings page.
