I was confused about missing Registration button in ticketless evets and after searching I found that I am not the only one. https://eventespresso.com/topic/register-button-not-showing/

The are type of events when you need people to register to come but you actually need no tickets. It would be a good option.

In the current situation this probably can be achieved by:
1. Setting the default number of tickets to 1 rather than 0
2. Hiding ticket selector container.

If you do not plan in the nearest future to offer ticketless events with registration can you briefly advise how to set the default number of events to 1 and which CSS statement to hide.

Hi there Viacheslav,

By default, a registrant/attendee will receive an email with their registration details. However, this email itself does not contain a “ticket.”

That option for a ticket design is available with the printable tickets add-on.

If you are wanting to limit the number of registrations per event (e.g. just one registrant at a time), then you can use the maximum and minimum option that is available by clicking on the gear (advanced options) icon in the ticket editor within the event editor. Then set that maximum and minimum to 1 and save changes.

The ticket (pricing option) selector will then default to 1 and additional quantities will not be available.

Thanks for the answer.

I have set the min and max number of tickets to 1 but I am still offered 0 ticket option as default. See screenshot.

How can I make it default to 1 so that user does not have to make additional clicks which are not needed.

Hi there,

Edit the event and change the “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” option within the Event Registration Options to 1.

This option – http://take.ms/LPRdB

The ticket selector will use a radio button and that single ticket will be selected by default.

What I now have is like this. http://cl.ly/image/0D1s2m0R1I2L
Though it achieves the technical result but looks creepy. If this is the only possible way, can you please share the file name (and preferably the function name) that handles this table with the ticket selector so I can figure out how to make it look nice.

Hello Viacheslav,

We actually have a feature that we are working on to remove that checkbox and just display a button. However, it’s still hung up in development/testing, so it might be a bit for it’s released.

Here’s the change our developer made to core:

I think you might be able to override the current core file by copying over this file to your theme folder.
