Split: **URGENT** Last Update Has Made Ticket Selector Vanish

Hi,

I had the same problem. Seems that I had version 4.8.23.p and I did a manual check for update in WordPress and it showed nothing. So I decided to force EE to check again so I went to Event Espresso > General Settings and click Save. This triggered an update check, and then I saw that a newer version of EE was available – 4.8.24.p Once I updated it, my events worked again.

Question… Why didn’t the updates show up when I did an update query through WordPress itself?

Hi Joseph,

By default Event Espresso core along with any add-ons will check for updates once a day. Dashboard –> Updates does not trigger an update notice as updates are served with Amazon S3 rather than the WP plugins directory.

Re-saving your support license triggers a check for updates right away.
