Site moved, licensing did not like it

Hi,
I sent this through the contact form and saw that I wasn’t meant to ask for support on the form so I posted it again here.

When I got the EventEspresso license, I was still using http://beta.ebcmelbourne.org/wordpress as the URL of the site/blog (the site wasn’t live yet)

I have moved it since (went live) to http://www.ebcmelbourne.org but the license sees it as a different domain/website altogether

Is it possible for you to move the URL please as it’s basically the same site on the same domain

We allow you to reset your license key once from a development platform to a live platform (or a permanent site). I’ve rest both your licenses.

Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

In your WP Admin > Event Espresso > General Settings page, you will need to clear out the existing license key (if any), update the settings, then add the new license key from your account page on the Event Espresso website.

You guys responded quickly to my cry for help and reset my license too, but I’m still having troubles.

I followed the instructions above and erased the info in the license key field in my WP-Admin > EE, saved options, re-entered the key (it’s the same as before from what I can see…?) and saved options again.

I entered a test event to see if everything was working, but after I submitted the event I still got the message of:
“You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please…”

What am I doing wrong?

Also, would this license hiccup be causing me problems with my REM? Because that’s all gone screwy too about the same time I started getting license warnings.

Bill,

Are you still having problems? What version are you trying to update from? Have you tried manually updating? Have you removed all other copies of Event Espresso from the plugins folder?

The license key was not design to affect any other Event Espresso functionality.

I did a manual install just now and it seems to have fixed the licensing issues. Thanks!
I’m still having REM issues, so I’ll move over to that area of the forum to figure out what’s going on…

You reset our license, but now worse issues have occured.
