Showing Events that have no Date in Public Event List

My client is using EE3.1.36.4.L It provides enough functionality, except that she sells gift certificates that have no date or expiration. The display for [EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY] includes the date, which confuses her clients. Can you advise which product or add-on can allow the list without exhibiting the date? I am trying to keep her purchase to the minimum. Previous answers to this question in the forum are blocked based on product purchase, so I am not sure which upgrade is necessary. Hi Peter,

All events require dates, even Ongoing events. There isn’t a way to avoid this by default.

The only solution I can think of would be to add a category to the events, and then edit the appropriate templates to display that category as a class and then hide the dates using CSS.
