The error “Sorry, there was a security error and your registration was not saved” is only occuring whe I use the shortcode in a post. No error when going directly to the form.
I have tried to rename the templates-folder, and all of the plugins is the latest version.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Have you got an example page of this occurring? I just registered to an event on the site we have for you on file and it seemed to go through fine.

Also are you using any caching plugins? If so, you need to make sure that the Event Espresso pages are not cached.

Hello, I have no Cache-plugins innstalled. Espresso worked fine until I upgraded Espresso.
The full URL is working: https://kampanje-event-com.secure.domeneshop.no/eventregistrering/?ee=15
When I use Shortcode, I get the errror: http://kampanje-event.com/arets-markedsforer/

Hi

I am not seeing the error from either of those links posted but I am seeing something else.

On registering the domain name is changing to https://kampanje-event-com.secure.domeneshop.no/eventregistrering/ and the website virtually disappears. http://d.pr/i/uOMe

What payment gateway are you using? Can you check your General Settings to make sure the correct pages (in English, Event Registration, Transactions, etc) are there and have the appropriate shortcode in them?

I will check with the developer about the gateway.
I have tested in Safari and its working fine. It may be a problem with the browser, Chrome?
The registration worked fine i Chrome before upgrading, and I have checked that all page have a correct shortcode.

Have you cleared your browser cache? If it works fine in a different browser I would say it must be a cacheing issue.

Hello, now its working fine. The developer removed the SSL gateway, and I did clear my cache.
Thank you for helping out.

Hi,

I’m having this same issue with or without SSL enabled and it’s still not working. I wasn’t having issues before updating to 3.1.30.7P, is there a way that I can get a link to download an older version? Or can you recommend a solution?

@Travis this is a resolved thread, could you please start a new one? It would be great if you could link to the site as well as it may not be SSL related but something else. Also I would rename the uploads/espresso/templates folder to see if that helps.
