I am trying to set my site up where people can sign up for art classes. I have a couple test events set up that are showing on the calendar with images. When you click on the event detail, it currently does not give the option to register/pay. Can someone please direct me to what I am doing wrong here?
In addition, the image is not showing on the Event page. What has to be done to make this happen?

Hi Jason,
In the event editor, is the option “Display Ticket Selector” (found on the right column) set to Yes?
Regarding the image, I assume this was set as a featured image? If so, the theme controls whether this is displayed or not, so you would need to check your theme settings and/or whether the theme supports in post featured images (oddly not all do).

I was able to turn on the Display Ticket Selector and that will work. I had previously left that turned off because I didn’t really need tickets, just registration.
On the photo showing on the event page, the support for my theme said this does not fall on them. The said, it should be the plug-in/Event Espresso.

Hi Jason,
I think the theme support folks are mistaken because WordPress featured image support is declared by the theme. They can use this guide to make their theme work with WordPress featured images:

If for some reason they’ve disabled featured images for everything except posts, that’s another matter, and they can fix that by allowing all WordPress post types to display featured images.
