Multiple Event Add-on: Cart page not displaying properly

Hello,

I am trying to use the ME Add-on and having trouble. The “Cart” page called “Registration Checkout” is not displaying the way the images show on the add-on page on your site.

Issue one: After clicking “View Cart” the page opens showing the full “Registration” section on top (including questions), then the “Cart” section is shown on the very bottom of the page.

Issue two: In that “Cart” section on my site, the “+” “-” boxes (to add or remove tickets) are now in a straight vertical line instead of displaying as a table view, across, they are only blue boxes with no text inside of them to indicate their use. Only by hovering over can you see what they are for when the tooltip is activated.

Any help? I imagine there is an issue with the theme somewhere, but not sure where to look. I’m even more stumped why the “Registration” section is showing up on this page, when in the example it appears only after clicking “Proceed to Registration.”

I can provide a link, but as this is a live site I rather do so privately over email.

Thank you.

Hi,

I sent a reply via email yesterday afternoon and a follow-up just now. Just want to make sure that they are getting to you.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Lorenzo,

Checking back in, it’s midday Friday and I’m worried that with the weekend approaching I won’t be able to reconnect over solutions to my issue. Last I heard from you was two days ago and I’m worried emails are not reaching you.

I may need to now just turn of the Multi-events plugin, because it is just not usable in the current version of the page. This was the main reason I purchased event espresso. I had been using Gravity Forms, and while Gravity Forms does not have the same nice management system as EE, it was much easier to negotiate and make changes to.

Please let me know if you are receiving my email communications. I will repost this on the Forum page as well if, for some reason, you are not. (I have been responding to support@….).

Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

Appologies for the delay getting back to you, I have replied via email with some further details from viewing your site but will add them here (without the site specific info)

When viewing your event espresso archive page there is a syntax error being thrown from a template file within the theme.

This template file is archive-espresso_events.php

Do you have other EE specific template files within the theme?

I’m wondering if the template files are loading up both sections of the checkout page.

Hi Chris,

We’re still interested in getting a copy of that theme to investigate further, and it will also help to know the names of the 3rd party plugins are active since you mentioned that the cart loads at the bottom of the checkout page.
