Manual Registration with WP User Integration

Hi there, very excited to add the user integration… with 7k users in our WooCommerce shop it just makes sense that people can use the same account… makes us look smarter and makes it easier for people to attend, kudos for that.

A challenge I’m facing has to do with manual registrations, which we do a fair number of. (Speakers, comp registration, etc.) There doesn’t seem to be a way to link a WP User account to a registration either during the manual registration process or afterwards. Is there any way to do that? Seems like you could add a field pretty easily with the dropdown of user names, just like in the post/page editor.

It might be easy to add, but will a dropdown that has 7k options be easy to use?

Until something like this gets added, one thing you could do is use the User Switcher plugin, switch to that user, then run the registration. That will link the registration to their account since you’ll be logged in as that user.
