WordPress Version: 3.9.2
Event Espresso Version: 3.1.36.5.P
Event Espresso – Calendar Version: 2.2.4.p
New Installation
http://mauipride.org/wp-admin/

When you click on a link to any of the event on the calendar page, it pulls up the event registration page. Towards the bottom of the registration page, it will list the event date, but not the event time. How do I get it to show the event time?

Here is the URL to my calendar page:
http://mauipride.org/calendar/

Please help. Thank you.

Hi,

Is a start time and end time set for each event?

Yes. It’s very strange because when you look at the calendar with all the events, it lists the start and end times. But when you click on the event to open up the registration page, it only shows the date, but not the event times.

Have you made any customizations to the core plugin or were you running an older version and recently updated to 3.1.36.5.P?

I have not made any customization’s to the core plugin. I also installed Event Espresso only a few months ago…so unless you’ve sent out a recent update since then, I don’t believe I have updated to 3.1.36.5.P.

Hi Bob,

When you set ‘Display Registration Form’ to No within the event options – http://take.ms/Y6acc

It will also hide the event time from view.

To change this you’ll need to edit the template used to display the registration form.

Do you have FTP access to the site?

I see…So you’re saying when I set the “Display Registration Form” to “No”, it will hide the event time from the page as well? Ugg. =(

I do have FTP access to the site. Is there a way to display the event time on the event registration page while still having the option not to display the registration form?

Yes. I should first explain why the form part of the registration page includes the times: Events can have more than one time, and when there is more than one time set, the time display becomes a select option.

There’s a hook that can be used to display the time without modifying any of Event Espresso’s templates. You can copy the code in the example gist provided below into a site specific function plugin, then activate it, to display the event times for events that do not have a registration form set to be displayed.
