EE4 Notification Emails

I am using EE4.6.10.p and have set up a separate primary email where registration notification emails are sent which is different than my WordPress email. However, notification emails are being sent to me instead of the intended recipient. They are using a gmail account for the notifications. I’ve retyped and saved the notification email more than once with no change. The notification recipient has an adminstrative login with the same email address. How can I fix this without resorting to an additional plugin since we do not use wp email for anything other than status updates and receive no other emails from users.

Hi,

By default Event Espresso 4 sends the Event Admin emails to the Event Authors email address. This is the email address of whichever user account created the event.

However you can change this to use the Primary contact email address within Event Espresso -> General Settings (or any email for that matter)

You do this by navigating to Event Espresso -> Messages.

There you will see list of message types, 2 of which will have the Event Admin context active (read more on Messages Contexts HERE)

I’ll show you how to edit the Registration Approved message type here, the same will need to be done for the any other message type you activate the Event Admin Context on.

So find Registration Approve and click on ‘Event Admin’ – http://take.ms/ZENCA

Notice within the To field we currently have [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] – http://take.ms/o7XdL

Change that to [CO_EMAIL] and save.

Now the Registration Approved message that is sent to the Event Admin, will be sent to the ‘Primary Contact Email’ from Organization Settings.

The same needs to be done for the ‘Registration Pending Payment’ message type.

Does that make sense?

Thank you Tony. It worked. I had to wait for another registration to come in to check it, so that was the delay.
