EE4 – default ticket selector to be turned off on event creation?

We have a lot of external events posted on our site, and one of our editors has accidentally left the ticket selector on, causing confusion because people think they are getting tickets to a free event. Is there any way to change the default to having the ticket selector to be turned off?

It can be added to your child theme’s functions.php file or a site specific plugin.
