Different Tax for different countries (2)

I saw a topic with this title from earlier this year which is closed already.

I wonder if there will be any change in the near future?
We offer events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and in every country there is another tax rate.
If somebody from example Switzerland is registered, we have to write an invoice without tax as our office in based in Germany.

The other thread you refer to had a solution where they set a different surcharge amount via the price modifier feature in the ticket editor. Will that work for your use case?
