Can I Test-drive/Demo Event Espresso?
Sure. You can test-drive EE the Event Espresso admin with several add-ons installed; signup today it’s fast and free. You can also play with our front-end demo (no sign-up required). Will Event Espresso work on my server?
Before downloading, please be sure your server meets the requirements.
Do you offer non-profit discounts?
Non-profit organizations may request a discounted price by completing the Non-profit Application Form.
What types of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express & PayPal. We only accept payments online, and only in certain circumstances will we accept a purchase order, take a check or take any orders over the phone.
Can I purchase now & upgrade later?
Yes, you can purchase a higher license at any time. Upgrading will give you access to additional addons, documentation, and support plus extend your license for an additional 12 months beyond your original expiration date. The sooner you upgrade the sooner you get all the new resources at a discount for 24 cumulative months. Be cause an additional 12 months of support is included, we do not offer discounts on upgrades.
Can I purchase a license and downgrade later?
Yes. You can downgrade your package. However, you will lose access to addons that you have purchased that are not part of the package you are downgrading from.
How many licenses can I buy with my account?
Users who purchased the Personal or Business license can only purchase one license at a time. Developer licenses come with access to all our products for five sites or as many licenses as they purchase.
How many websites can I install Event Espresso on?
Your support license with Event Espresso allows you to receive support, documentation, and upgrades (including one-click upgrades from your WordPress Plugins dashboard) on one WordPress installation. If you want support for additional sites, we recommend purchasing another license with a separate EventEspresso.com account or upgrading to the Developer license.
Can I install on a development site?
One-click upgrades will only work on one installation of WordPress per license key, so you will want to choose which site you want to use your license on for one-click upgrades. If this is a development or test site, please DO NOT enter your Support License Key. Save it for the live production site, otherwise you will unnecessarily run into issues with needing to have your Key reset. If you need more than one license key we recommend purchasing the developer license or contacting us to try and arrange two license keys on your account.
Do you offer refunds?
Generally, no; only in some very certain situations. We offer non-tangible irrevocable, digital goods and services and provide several methods to evaluate our products: Event Espresso Lite, Pre-sales Forum, free Test-drive, and a Full Test-drive. We expect that the above methods for evaluating Event Espresso should be sufficient to determine if Event Espresso will meet your needs. For more information see our Terms and Conditions.
Are the support licenses good for a lifetime?
Each support license is good for 12 months from the date of your purchase. You can renew your license for another year at a substantial discount.
How much does it cost to renew my license?
The renewal price is based upon the package level you purchased. Generally, Personal license users receive 25% off their renewal, Business license users receive 35% off their renewal and Developer license users receive 50% off their renewal. These discounts also apply to additional addons that are purchased outside of a standard package. Early or on-time renewals will receive this significant discount; late renewals will not receive discounts which means it is much cheaper to keep your license current than to let it expire and you continue to receive support and upgrades.
What do I get for renewing my license key?
Renewing your license provides an peace of mind with an additional year of access to support, our documentation and software updates to ensure WordPress compatibility as well as great new features and enhancements.
When do I have to renew?
Your support license for Event Espresso is good for 12 months from the date you purchase a package (e.g. Personal, Business or Developer). In most cases, addon licenses are matched to the same date you purchased/renewed Event Espresso; we didn’t want to make you renew each addon on a different date..
Will my events quit working if my license expires?
If your license expires, your forms and website will still work just fine but you won’t have access to product updates, new addons or the excellent product support or documentation that we provide as a service.
Will Event Espresso work on a WordPress.com site?
No, unfortunately WordPress.com does not enable you to install any plugins.
Will Event Espresso work with Drupal, Joomla, or Expression Engine sites?
Not yet, Event Espresso only works with WordPress.
Which web browsers work with Event Espresso?
Event Espresso has been tested with the most current versions Internet Explorer (Windows only), Firefox, Safari & Chrome on the Windows PC and Mac OSX platforms. Event Espresso may function just as well in older or other, less popular browsers, but we only support those listed previously. For more information, please see our Supported Web Browsers page.
